The Strength Training and Running Study is a new research study looking at preventing overuse injuries in female runners and are asking runners in the community to participate! If you or someone you know is:

  • 18-62 years old
  • Runs at least 5 miles a week consistently
  • Has been injury-free for the last 6 months
  • Has not participated in formal strength training in the last 6 months
  • Willing to potentially engage in strength training exercises twice per week for 9 months
